PC-based data acquisition system with 'touch-screen' visualization
The KS 3212 Data Monitor from PMA in Kassel, Germany, is a
network-compatible system for data recording, which can be supplied with
customer-specific configuration. The unit consists of an industrial PC (IP
65) with a 12-inch TFT colour Touch Screen (optional 15.), and two
decentralized field bus modules, each with 16 universal inputs, whose
parameters are set very conveniently via an Engineering Tool. The integrated
evaluation software package allows individual graphic displays and
evaluations plus an automatic alarm function, for example as an e-mail.

New PROFIBUS controller from PMA:
KS 90-1/DP in a network with "plug & go"
The universal process controller KS 90-1 from the BluePort® range supplied
by PMA in Kassel, Germany, connects directly to a PROFIBUS-DP network. Using
simple "plug & go" functions, typical control parameters such as process
value, setpoint, status data, and control signals are polled from the
PROFIBUS-Master without the need for any accessory equipment.

from the 8xx class: The KS 816 now available with
Profibus-DP
The KS 816, not only available as a 16-channel
controller, but also suitable as a cost-effective
remote multi-channel transmitter (thermocouples, Pt
100, 20 mA, 10 V) in many applications, can now be
used in systems with Profibus-DP. The Profibus
interface of the KS 816 is almost fully
compatible with that of the KS 800. If the KS 816 is
used as a transmitter, a special transmitter
Engineering Tool helps with parameter setting and
configuration, whereby only relevant data are
